A Virtual Survey Inspection is a convenient and comprehensive service designed for clients who are unable to be physically present during the vessel inspection. Whether due to location,
scheduling, or logistical reasons, the Marine Surveyor will act as your on-site representative, managing all aspects of the inspection process on your behalf.
With the ability to communicate in four languages — English, Spanish, Italian, and French — this option is ideal for overseas clients or those coordinating the transport of a vessel out of state or country.
This service provides the same detailed evaluation found in a Pre-Purchase Survey or a Condition & Valuation (C&V) Survey, ensuring you receive a complete and objective assessment of the vessel’s condition — all without having to be there in person.
What’s Included
- When conducting a Virtual Survey Inspection, the surveyor coordinates every element of the
- process to ensure a thorough and efficient evaluation. This may include:

- inspection or delivery.
- Performing the full inspection (afloat and/or out of water) based on the survey type
- requested Documenting findings through detailed photographs, videos, and written notes
- Communicating directly with repair facilities, mechanics, or other service providers if
- needed
- Providing real-time updates via phone, video call, or post-inspection summary for the
- client
- Because the Virtual Survey Inspection involves the surveyor acting as your representative,
- additional coordination, scheduling, and oversight are required. Therefore, an additional fee is
- applied to cover the representation and logistical management associated with these services.
- The final deliverable is a comprehensive written survey report, complete with photographs
- and professional observations, just as if you had attended the inspection in person.
